Uig Pier

The development included construction of additional berthing structures, and improvements to the existing pier fendering to accommodate a larger ro-ro ferry.
Two berthing dolphins were installed beyond the outer end of the pier, consisting of pre-cast concrete decks over 30m long high strength bearing piles within a braced jacket structure.
As part of a Design and Build Team were responsible for the design and implementation of all civil and structural works.
