The Sandringham Estate Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite, Norfolk

R G Parkins provided holiday park civil engineering services for a major redevelopment at the Sandringham Estate Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite, Norfolk. The project upgraded visitor facilities and ensured the site’s long term sustainability.

The works included:

• Construction of two new toilet block facilities

• Refurbishment of the reception building

• Installation of new glamping pods to expand accommodation

Our team prepared a Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) and designed drainage strategies to support the planning application. A sustainable drainage system (SuDS) was also implemented to manage surface water and protect the local environment. For guidance, we followed CIRIA SuDS standards.

We produced foundation designs for all new structures, including the toilet blocks, glamping pods, and external works.

By combining our expertise in structural engineering, civil engineering, drainage design, and flood risk assessment, R G Parkins delivered a complete engineering package. The work supported the successful redevelopment of the holiday park.
