Our work involves much more than holding back the water at its source, and includes detailed calculations to quantify and control rate of flow to optimise the utilisation of any flood storage areas and provide maximum flood risk mitigation to properties downstream.
We support landowners to develop an effective scheme from the outset. We’ll talk through the issues, constraints and design considerations to ensure you achieve a successful scheme which achieves its aims and gains planning and regulatory approval.
We have worked with the Rivers Trusts on a number of successful Natural Flood Management schemes which have reduced flood risk and increased biodiversity.
