We collect information about you if you are a client or if you fill in our contact form. Website usage information is collected anonymously using cookies.

Clients
We will collect information from you if you are a client. For example, your name, business name, address, email address, telephone number, VAT number, invoices, receipts etc. We will also store information relevant to your enquiry or project, including notes or details explaining what you’ve asked for and how we responded.

Contact forms / direct email
If you fill in our contact form we will collect information such as your name, telephone number and email or details on a CV.

What we do with the information we gather

We will only use the information you provide to us for 1) reasons which we have been given permission, 2) as necessary to deliver the Services you purchase or interact with and 3) as we might be required or permitted for legal compliance or other lawful purposes.

If you want us to delete your personal data and that data is necessary for the products or services you have purchased, the request will be processed only to the extent it is no longer necessary for any services purchased or required for our legitimate business purposes or legal or contractual record keeping requirements.

We follow generally accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored, including utilization of encryption where appropriate.

R G Parkins has legal obligations to retain certain types of customer information for certain time periods e.g. for tax and or accounting purposes, we may need to keep contact details on file for longer periods if they appear on an invoice for example.
