Adam Roberts – Director
Adam has worked for R G Parkins since 2005 when he graduated from Liverpool John Moore University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He attained Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2016.
Joe Parkins – Director
Joe began working for R G Parkins in 1989. He purchased the company in 2017, along with fellow Director Adam Roberts. Joe now runs the Lancaster office which has a special interest in historic buildings, maritime structures and new build projects.
Emily Roberts – Associate
Emily graduated from the University of Bath with a degree in Civil and Architectural Engineering and joined R G Parkins in 2006. She was recognised as a Chartered Civil Engineer by the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2015.

Joe Guest – Associate
Joe completed his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bolton while also working part time as a consultant for another north-west firm. He joined R G Parkins in 2017 and attained Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2022.

Jon Freeman – Associate
Jon graduated from Swansea University with a degree in Civil Engineering before joining R G Parkins in 2009. In 2021 he attained Chartered status from the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Oliver Sugden – Associate
Oliver worked for consultants in the north-east after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He joined the team at R G Parkins in 2014.

Stuart Winstanley – Associate
Stuart gained valuable experience working on site before joining R G Parkins in 2000. He qualified as an engineering technician (EngTech MICE) in 2011 before becoming a Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPs) CDM Co-ordinator in 2014. He gained Certified Member (CMaPs) Principal Designer status in 2019.

Troy Melhuish – Associate
Troy graduated from Cardiff University with a master’s degree in civil engineering design and a PhD in Geoenvironmental Engineering. He then gained experience with another north-west consultant before joining R G Parkins in 2008. He was recognised as a Chartered Engineer by the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2015.
