Falcon Crag, Cowan Head

We were first commissioned to complete a condition survey of the external trusses. This revealed that several internal members required replacement. The work formed part of a broader maintenance programme for the building.

Due to the watercourse permit for the River Kent, the programme had strict time constraints. A full-height scaffold was required over the river, so a quick turnaround was essential.

R G Parkins prepared a full set of bespoke details and specifications to carry out the repair works. We also acted as Principal Designer, managing health and safety responsibilities for the project.
