Oakfield Park, Kirkby Lonsdale
A multi-disciplinary team provided a holistic solution for Russell Armer Homes new housing development, Oakfield Park, in Kirkby Lonsdale. Our work included designing a retaining wall for split level properties and engineered earthwork embankments, cut and fill analysis and the design of the development’s highways scheme. Road Safety Audits were carried out at the various stages of the project from initial concept to completion. The design and detailing of a road bridge to span over the Haweswater Aqueduct was a unique component requirement to enable the full use of the site.
The team also designed an adopted foul and surface water drainage scheme which included a foul water pumping station and two SuDS basins with swales and soakaways.
